Elegant renovated ancient farmhouse, situated in this enchanting corner of Portugal, yet only 5 kilometres away from long unspoilt sandy beaches. The villa lies in a peaceful area and is surrounded by agricultural fields and woods. Here you can enjoy a completely relaxing holiday in contact with nature.

The house has been lovingly restored maintaining the original architecture found in every corner. It is very spacious with large bedrooms (most of which with ensuite bathroom) and spacious living areas both indoor and outdoors. 

Large garden with fruit trees and shady corners, excellent swimming pool set in a panoramic position and for "al fresco" dining there is a lovely lodge where you can wine and dine to your hearts content. In addition, there is a recreation playground area for small children and a small 5 a side football ground - a delight for children and adults. 

The nearest village is within walking distance (about 1,500 metres) where you will be able to find all basic facilities including a bank, minimarket, bar and a few typical restaurants. This property is ideally situated, in a privileged position for visiting the major tourist, historical and cultural centres including the World Heritage site of Porto, Barcelos - one of the prettiest places in the north of Portugal and the ceramics centre of Portugal - and Esposende, a popular resort town due to the area's excellent bathing conditions.

Large dining room with table seating up to 15 people. Fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, etc. Spacious living room with comfortable seating, 2 individual sofa beds, music centrre, DVD player, TV and open fireplace.

French windows leading to front terrace overlooking the swimming pool. (there is a double bed available in a separate room to increase accommodation up to 14 people). Steps leading to upper floor.

Upper floor
Master double bedroom with ensuite shower room. Double bedroom with ensuite shower room. Two double bedrooms sharing one bathroom.

Bedroom with ensuite shower room and large doors overlooking the front terrace. Spacious twin bedroom with ensuite shower room and large doors  overlooking the terrace. 

EXTERIOR
Swimming pool (10 metres long and 5 metres wide) surrounded by a lawned area with mature trees. Pool side shower. Small 5 a side football ground. Covered barbecue area with tables and chairs ideal for "al fresco" dining.
