This is a beautiful stone built cottage located in a
peaceful rural setting, overlooking the Douro river.
Recently restored by the present owners, the house is
tastefully decorated with traditional portuguese
furniture, providing comfortable accommodation up to 7
persons. The house has its own private and pleasant
garden with lawn, vines, orange, peach and magnolia
trees.
Marco de Canavezes is about 14 kilometres away and has
shops, supermarkets and a wide range of restaurants. A
short drive away is the charming old town of Amarante,
set on the banks of the Tamega river - a beautiful place
dominated by the three arched Ponte de Sao Goncalo,
built in 18th century. The World Heritage site of Porto
is about a 45 minute drive away.

centre, overlooking the swimming pool. Living room with
comfortable seating, one sofa and two armchairs, open
fireplace and TV. Steps leading up to first floor. Fully
fitted kitchen with a wooden table for 8 persons.
First floor
Double bedroom with beautiful views over the
Douro river. Shower room and adjacent single bedroom
overlooking the swimming pool. Separate twin bedroom
with river views.
EXTERIOR
Garden with lawn, vines, orange, peach and
magnolia trees. Private swimming pool (7 metres long and
4 metres wide). The depth is from 0.90 to 1.75 metres.
