of the undulating countryside. It stands in the triangle between Vila Nova De Cerveira,
Viana Do Castelo and the old roman town of Ponte de Lima, 3 of the most renowned towns
of the beautiful Minho region.
Perfectly positioned for guests to visit the most interesting cultural treasures
and beauty spots with easy access to all of the Minho region, including the fascinating
Spanish towns of Tui and Vigo - day trip possibilities to Spain are
endless and enticing; there is a daily ferry-boat linking the two banks of the Minho river
from a nearby town.
The local villages are picturesque and well preserved. The fine sandy beaches of Moledo
and Caminha are also within easy reach - there is a train station in Vila Nova de Cerveira
which makes it very easy to visit the surrounding villages. The local café and restaurant in
the village is only about 800 metres away. Vila Nova de Cerveira centre is only 8 minutes away.
Caminha, with its art treasures, delightful 15th and 16th century buildings around
the main square and excellent restaurants is less than a 20 minute drive away.
The villa was fully renovated in 2008 and is tastefully furnished. It has a large mature
garden naturally perfumed with a variety of herbs and flowers. Guests are free to explore
the property and pick the available fruit! The outside terrace is the ideal place
for al fresco dining.
Various sports activities including horse riding, water
rafting and canoeing are available in this region - we
will be pleased to book any activities on your behalf. An
excellent 18 hole golf course is set on a hillside
just outside the delightful roman town of Ponte de Lima
which is about a 30 minute drive away.
