This beautiful well appointed villa is a wonderful
example of a traditional "Minhota" house recently
restored with care and taste.
It stands in an elevated position overlooking the Lima
valley, with delightful views across the slopes of the
valley and (in the distance) the old sailing town of
Viana do Castelo.
The interior has been comfortably furnished with a range
of carefully chosen furnishings, creating a lovely
atmosphere. The living room opens onto a covered balcony
and terrace overlooking the pool, with table and chairs
perfect for outside eating. Surrounded by a large stone
wall, this villa enjoys complete independence and
privacy, being an ideal base from which to explore the
area's natural wonders. Activities such as horseback
riding, golf and tennis are possible in the vicinity.
The nearby roman town of Ponte de Lima offers a good
selection of bars, restaurants and shops. About a 25
minute drive away is located the attractive town of
Viana do Castelo, famous for its winding streets and
ancient monuments.
Cabedelo beach has been often described as one of the
most beautiful in the whole country. Europe's great
wilderness - Peneda-Geres National Park is also within
easy reach.
