A recently fully renovated farmhouse set on part of a large classical Minho estate with cultivated fields and woodland. 

The geographic location of this property is very interesting as it is set within reach of old towns such as Viana do Castelo, Barcelos and Ponte de Lima.

The delightful old historic town of Viana do Castelo, famous for its winding streets and ancient monuments, is noted for its pottery and regional handicrafts. In the centre of town, Praca da Republica is one of the most beautiful squares in Portugal, constructed in the 16th century.

The coast with many restaurants and sandy beaches is only a 10 minute drive away. The vicinity of a go karting, golf course, horse riding centre, river, mountain trails, etc, will rejoice your free time.

In this green peaceful region you can spend an unforgettable holiday in an original country house, absorbed in nature. The discreet property owner lives on the upper floor of the house. The guest's accommodation is completely independent with privacy.

The swimming pool and lawn area are for the exclusive use of the guests. In a separate building on the property the owner has a small private collection of restored vintage motor cycles, mainly Indian's.

ACCOMMODATION

Ground floor
Small fitted kitchen with microwave, hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge/ freezer, kettle and coffee machine. Dining area with table seating up to 12 people and doors leading out to the patio with large round granite table ideal for alfresco dining. Living area with comfortable seating, satellite TV, music centre and DVD player. Stairs leading up to a wooden gallery with a pool table. 

Upper floor
The accommodation on the first floor comprises 6 bedrooms of which 3 have twin beds and 3 have double beds. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom or shower room and 5 have direct access to the garden. The bedrooms are very comfortable and functional furnished, with ceramic tiled floor and wood panelled ceilings.

EXTERIOR

Large paved terrace with portable barbecue, eating area, deck chairs and sun umbrellas where you relax with a good book or enjoy the local vinho verde. Private swimming pool (12 metres long and 6 metres wide). Many plants, both aromatic and decorative, adorn the charming gardens around the house. Guests are free to explore the 8 hectares of the estate.
